Stronger Together’s UK Warehousing programme was established in 2023 for businesses who own, manage or provide labour into warehousing, in any sector, in the UK.
We have created a suite of practical resources and guidance which enable businesses to ensure that responsible recruitment practices, and fair work free from exploitation are achieved, in warehousing facilities across the UK.
The interactive workshop, in addition to our free downloadable awareness raising film, practical toolkit and self-assessment checklist of best practice actions focus on supporting businesses to take practical steps in understanding and managing the risk of labour exploitation occurring in this context.
The resources provided in this programme were funded with support from our Consumer Goods sponsors but are relevant to businesses from a wide range of sectors who own, use or manage warehousing services in their wider operations and supply chains; apparel and general merchandise, construction, consumer goods, food service and beyond.
Stronger Together’s UK Warehousing resources also include guidance on appropriate management of outsourced services to contractors, such as cleaning, catering, security and maintenance, where the risk is labour exploitation is also significant.
If you are a warehouse owner, operator or labour provider into warehousing, who is interested in collaborating with other similar businesses on the issues of tackling labour exploitation, please reach out: info@stronger2gether.org
