We partner with key stakeholders in Mexico including:

  • The Periplo project, driven by Fundación Avina: Strengthening labor migration systems in Mexico’s agricultural supply chains and between Mexico and the U.S., protecting the human rights of migrant farmworkers.
  • World Vision: Promoting human rights due diligence in Sinaloa and Jalisco’s agricultural export sectors, helping Mexican agribusinesses build capacity and meet Canadian Law transparency requirements.
  • Bonsucro: Sharing knowledge to identify and overcome forced and bonded labor challenges, influencing Mexico’s sugarcane industry to adopt responsible recruitment practices.

Previously we worked with Rainforest Alliance on a 2.5 year project in Mexico and Costa Rica.

Online toolkit to support businesses to implement international best practice for responsible recruitment through an effective approach to human rights due diligence for each of the Stronger Together standards through an annual subscription. Includes access to a step-by-step checklist and self-assessment for each standard, local context for your country and sector, resource centre for downloading and editing, and international guidance.
The Periplo project, promoted by Fundación Avina, focuses on building bridges between the public, private and social sectors to transform the agricultural labour migration system into a fairer and more co-responsible one that respects human rights in each link of the sector's supply chain in the corridors between Central America, Mexico and the United States. Grateful to be part of the 12 organisations that have been collaborating with since 2021.
