July 15, 2015 9:43 am, , Leave your thoughtsThe Stronger Together tackling hidden labour exploitation video which features the real life stories of Daniel and Weronika is available to download in multiple languages as well as being viewable on the Stronger Together YouTube Channel. The video shows how easily migrant workers can fall victim to modern slavery.
Stronger Together, a multi stakeholder initiative to reduce hidden labour exploitation in the UK’s supply chains, provides the video as one of the free resources to help businesses understand the part they can play in reducing forced labour.
The video is available to download from the Stronger Together website with Bulgarian, Croatian, Hungarian, Italian, Polish, Romanian and Spanish subtitles. Businesses are encouraged to use it in the induction of workers, alongside the leaflets and other documents that are also freely available from the Stronger Together website.
By making the video available in multiple languages, it is hoped that members of the migrant community, who are most likely to be affected by modern slavery, will be able to access the information they need to get help.
