Dal 2022, Stronger Together Italia è affiancato da EQUALITAS nell’aiutare le aziende vitivinicole ad affrontare i rischi di sfruttamento lavorativo e di caporalato. La promozione e l’organizzazione dei workshop avviene grazie alla collaborazione con consorzi regionali, grandi esportatori e distributori.

Stronger Together Italy Wine Programme works with partners to provide capacity-building training and support for their Italian wine suppliers, including wineries, bottlers, distributors, and growers.
Since 2022, Stronger Together has collaborated with EQUALITAS to support Italian wine businesses in addressing the risks of labour exploitation in the sector. We currently work with regional organisation Consortia and first tier suppliers who support the programme through the promotion and delivery of workshops.

Since 2021, at least 15 cases of labour exploitation have been reported in the Italian wine industry, with the latest one occurring in March 2024, as reported by Al Jazeera and national news.

One free delegate place per eligible organisation (not per site) renews every 3 years on each course.
For suppliers of more than one sponsor a maximum of 3 free places is available (i.e. suppliers to 2 Sponsors are eligible for 2 free places per course every 3 years and suppliers of 3 or more sponsors are eligible for 3 free places per course every 3 years).
