Seasonal Worker Scheme Taskforce 2025 Worker Survey Report – March 2026

The SWS Taskforce surveys gather seasonal worker recruitment and on-farm experiences, in-season, at grower and Scheme Operator (SO) level. The survey consists of 52 multiple-choice questions in eight languages, over Start, Mid and End of Season surveys.

The survey aims to eliminate the need for duplicate surveys and by using a consistent set of questions:

  • Enables growers and SOs to benchmark performance, prioritise actions, and gain insights that support targeted improvements to enhance worker experiences and reduce risks.
  • Supplies evidence to the Taskforce to track progress over time and support collaborative improvement initiatives.
  • The trends and insights from the worker survey are regularly discussed in Workstream meetings to inform prioritisation of Taskforce activities and to identify specific actions that can be taken at a Taskforce, Retailer, Scheme Operator and Grower level, which are then tracked on an ongoing basis.

This report provides an analysis of worker responses over the 2025 season.
