 Designed for supervisors and line managers, this workshop equips delegates to recognise, respond to, and prevent modern slavery and labour exploitation in the workplace. 

Workshop overview 

This interactive workshop introduces delegates to the issues of modern slavery, forced labour, and hidden labour exploitation, exploring how they can infiltrate the businesses and supply chains they work in. Using real-life case studies and practical examples, participants will develop the skills to recognise the signs of exploitation and learn how to respond effectively in their supervisory capacity. The session is designed to build confidence in taking the right steps to deter, detect, and address modern slavery; while equipping delegates with practical tools and resources to apply their learning directly in the workplace. 

By the end of the workshop you will: 

• Understand what modern slavery, forced labour and hidden labour exploitation are; and how they can affect businesses. 
• Recognise key signs and indicators of exploitation through real-life case studies and examples. 
• Know how to respond appropriately when potential exploitation is identified. 
• Gain confidence and practical tools to deter, detect, and address modern slavery in the workplace. 

This in-house workshop is ideal for: 

• Supervisors and managers responsible for teams or workers who may be most vulnerable to exploitation 

Format of the workshop:  

This workshop is 3 hours long, and can be delivered online or in person for up to 20 delegates per session.
