In the ever changing landscape of global supply chains, staying on top of evolving regulations is critical for businesses committed to responsible practices.
Over the last few years, increased mandatory human rights due diligence legislation has been introduced in several countries worldwide to hold companies accountable for their human rights impacts, including labour-related human rights of their global supply chains.
Forced labour, child labour, discrimination, harassment, fair wages, working hours, freedom of association and health and safety are among the most common labour-related salient human rights risks in global supply chains. Strategies to conduct effective human rights due diligence require understanding of where risks lie in the supply chain, an action plan to tackle those risks, remediation policies and effective monitoring and reporting.
Developed and delivered by labour rights experts with knowledge of human rights management in various sectors, this one-day course will ensure you are informed and equipped to embed effective human rights due diligence in your business and supply chains and best prepared for the evolving legislative landscape.
