Montse is the Spain Programme Manager at Stronger Together, in charge of managing the development of the programme and delivering the activities in-country. Montse grew up near Barcelona and is currently based in Almería (Spain).
Montse has strong experience in the agri-food private sector as well as in the public administration. She previously worked for a state-owned company under the Ministry of Climate Action, Food and Rural Agenda of the Catalan Government. In her previous role, she delivered support to agri-food businesses, overseeing the implementation of a diversity of projects within the industry. Previous experience also involves agriculture and working for diverse wineries in Spain (which includes Miguel Torres Chile, one of the symbols of Fair Trade in the world of wine).
She is passionate about working in assuring access to fair work and ethical recruitment practices for all, in helping to increase focus on social consciousness amongst individuals and businesses, and in building new business opportunities to further the work of Stronger Together in Spain.
