
Bethan Hunt is the UK Programmes Manager at Stronger Together, responsible for the Consumer Goods Programme and the Responsible Recruitment Toolkit (RRT).
Based in Manchester, in the UK, she joined the team at Stronger Together from Co-operatives UK, where she managed the Empowering Places programme, supporting the start-up of new social businesses as a response to social and economic deprivation. Before this, she worked in local government and higher education. She studied for a Masters in Political Economy at the University of Manchester, covering themes of work and employment in the global economy, and focused her final project on the growing issue of in-work poverty across the UK.
She is passionate about improving economic systems so they work effectively for people and planet, and ensuring that the voices and experiences of those experiencing exploitation are heard.
