Stronger Together launches refreshed eLearning courses on tackling modern slavery

Meet our new expert eLearning courses and LMS platform – a cost effective and flexible training option for your business.

Upskilling your staff to prevent, detect and deal appropriately with the risk of exploitation in operations and supply chains is now more important than ever. Recent statistics estimate that there are 27.6 million people in situations of forced labour globally. According to the National Crime Agency, modern slavery is ‘in every UK town and city’, and can affect businesses of all sizes, across all sectors.

A new suite of eLearning courses

Our newly updated eLearning course ‘Introduction to Tackling Modern Slavery in Businesses –UK and Ireland’ supports learners to understand what modern slavery, forced labour and labour exploitation is, how to recognise the signs of exploitation and understand how to take initial action.

Our specialist knowledge and expertise have been converted into a clear, practical and user-friendly learning approach for all. The course meets AA Level web content accessibility guidelines, a globally recognised baseline for digital accessibility and understanding. Knowledge tests feature throughout- with interactive questions, engaging videos and topical case studies to reinforce key concepts and support knowledge retention. The course takes approx. 30 minutes to complete at a self-lead pace, and certificates are issued automatically after successful completion following an end of course assessment.

Scalable and affordable eLearning for all

The course is ideal for all roles across all businesses and sectors; especially those who are specifically responsible for tackling modern slavery-  from policy to implementation – and those who may encounter it within their remit. It provides an accessible, scalable way to give colleagues a common knowledge base, making it ideal for organisation-wide awareness, onboarding, or refresher training.

Due to high demand, we have updated two of our role specific versions of the course:

Built on the core content of the General UK eLearning course, each course takes approximately 30 minutes to complete and includes additional topics tailored to each specific audience. This targeted approach provides learners with the knowledge and confidence to better recognise, respond to, and help tackle labour exploitation within their role.

Evolving and building upon our eLearning legacy

For the first time in 13 years, we’ve bought our eLearning courses together in one place, with a newly dedicated Learning Management System (LMS) embedded on the Stronger Together website. Easily accessible, this platform allows users to complete eLearning courses at any time through their personal profile.

As well as purchasing an individual licence, businesses can purchase multiple licences for teams, business functions or for the whole organisation. This is managed by a nominated organisational lead who can monitor and view progress through a central dashboard area.
