Association of Labour Providers

The Association of Labour Providers (ALP) is the specialist trade association promoting responsible recruitment for labour providers. ALP represents and supports its members to ensure that the provision, use and management of labour in the food processing, horticultural and wider manufacturing, industrial, warehousing and distribution sectors is recognised as a model of good practice.

ALP Members range from small local labour providers to the largest national multi-sector suppliers. Growers packers, manufacturers, processors and logistics companies are welcomed as Associate Members.

Clearview is a global social compliance certification scheme for labour providers. Clearview enables labour providers to demonstrate to existing and potential clients that they operate responsibly, professionally, legally and ethically in their sourcing and supply of workers.

Clearview certification provides users of labour providers, and the brands and retailers that procure their goods and services, with an independent means by which to demonstrate due diligence and to protect brand reputation.

Responsible Recruitment

The Responsible Recruitment Toolkit (RRT) is a pioneering, online toolkit providing practical, step-by-step guidance for business across the breadth of responsible recruitment good practice.

The RRT will equip businesses at all stages of the labour supply chain with the knowledge, tools and resources to embed and promote responsible recruitment practices. The RRT is aimed at brands, retailers, user enterprises, labour providers, civil society, academics and other interested groups.

Fast Forward

Fast Forward is a pioneering, next generation labour standards improvement programme driving a step-change in legal and ethical compliance in supply chains, GNFR suppliers and service providers.

Addressing human rights risks in supply chains, such as forced labour, low wages and exploitative recruitment fees, is complex and demands new ways of collaborative working. The Fast Forward programme is supported by a growing number of leading brands and retailers working together to tackle exploitation and build a sustainable supply base.
