Course Details

The e-learning module is an interactive awareness-raising training course designed for South African Government departments and officials, and civil society organizations supporting victims of forced labour and labour trafficking.

Available in Afrikaans and English, it t equips participants with the knowledge on how to detect, deter, and deal with forced labour. The course provides an engaging and interactive learning experience supported by an awareness raising video and exercise checks to reinforce knowledge. There is no formal assessment and the module can be completed on both desktop and mobile devices.

By the end of the course participants will:

  • Understand what modern slavery, forced labour and hidden labour exploitation is
  • Recognise how to spot the signs of forced labour and hidden labour exploitation
  • Know what you, your department or organization can do to protect individuals from exploitation.
